Personal Branding or Self Marketing, concepts related to “selling” and telling the story of one’s professionalism, means thinking of oneself as a “product” to be best bought by one’s target audience, internal and external to the company.
These thoughts are addressed by dwelling on the digital revolution, in which social media has become an important resource for communicating one’s value promise, getting it discovered by the audience of interest, and gaining visibility and credibility.
In this course, participants will be guided to implement a personal branding strategy, explore the professional use and potential of LinkedIn, and set up a personal development plan that will be shared with the instructor to evaluate its effectiveness.
Methodology
Videos and in-depth theoretical readings will be provided. In addition, practical guides and methods for valuable use of LinkedIn will be provided. Special attention will be paid to creating a personal development plan.
