PRAXI is among the 36 organizations signing the agreement signed last Wednesday at the“Inclusive and Sustainable Cities” meeting held in Bologna that officially gives birth to the SmartBo Network.
When SmartBo was born and why
SmartBo was born 3 years ago from an initiative of the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City, aggregating about 20 Organizations that, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and the support of the Equal Opportunities Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, launched a territorial experiment oriented to the sustainability principles of the UN 2030 Agenda.
The Territorial Agreement formalizes the birth of a real network oriented toward participation, collaboration and experimentation aimed at people’s welfare, productivity, innovation and sustainable development of the territory and community.
SmartBo is first and foremost a place for sharing policies, experiences, training paths, and best practices among different Organizations, for exchange with other regional and national territorial hubs, and, in perspective, an employer branding tool for private companies and public Organizations.
Special attention is paid to neighborhood services and the environmental and social impacts of new ways of working, which are increasingly relevant in a context of climate emergency and energy crisis.
