Managerial Development

Developing your leadership means envisioning the leader you want to become and defining what distinctive traits you want to convey in the organization and in the marketplace. This growth starts with understanding how we are perceived within our own system, what emotions others feel when they relate to us, the traits they appreciate and those they struggle to understand.
The proposed course of action begins with a 360-degree leadership assessment in a process in which to involve a panel of colleagues, managers, co-workers, and possibly customers, invited to express a structured opinion on the leadership expressed, to be compared later with their own self-assessment.
The level of adherence between how we see ourselves and how others perceive us opens a window of awareness that guides the focused development of key competencies.

Target audience

Manager and Senior Manager.

Methodology

The course is a gymnasium for leadership assessment and training and involves alternating classroom, online and coaching methodologies.

Duration

1-day in-person course plus 4 coaching meetings

Goals

– Define what distinctive leadership characteristics you want
to become the bearer of
– Analyze the difference between how you perceive your leadership and the evaluation you receive from the reference system
– Train the specific skills you have identified
– Learn how to improve your effectiveness by taking advantage of every opportunity to grow.

Program

– Pre-work: 360° leadership assessment
– Classroom:
– the 5 areas of effective leadership
– the 14 competencies of an “ideal” leader in today’s context
– analysis of your own 360° feedback report
– identify your preferred learning profile
– focus on your development goals
– develop your leadership development plan.
– How to take advantage of online opportunities and resources to make life a process of
continuous improvement
– After the classroom: 4 remote coaching meetings to support leadership development plan.
