Assertiveness has the overall goal of improving social relations, especially in contexts where it is common for divergent opinions and needs to generate contrasts or conflicts. Being assertive means taking responsibility for one’s actions, having full self-awareness and, at the same time, breaking out of modes of interaction that prove to be unhelpful to the achievement of business objectives and team management.
The course aims to develop in participants assertiveness for the improvement of professional relationships and for the growth of the level of leadership and management of work teams. It also enables participants to activate better awareness of their “affirmative self” and interpersonal communication style, including through acquiring better use of active listening and questioning technique.
Target audience
All those who wish to develop assertive interpersonal skills with a view to improving professional and personal relationships and growing in the management of work teams.
Methodology
The course alternates theoretical training moments with practical exercises and films, which allow participants to actively experience the different elements of assertive behavior, reflecting on the specific difficulties related to their role as manager and/or coordinator.
