Managerial Development

Leadership is the ability to influence stakeholders to direct them toward achieving set goals.
To be a leader, it is necessary to know how to manage emotions: monitor the climate in the group, spread motivation, create empathy, get people to overcome the fear of change.
The most effective leaders are those who develop emotional agility, who know how to value their inner experiences making themselves and their team more effective.
This training focuses on developing useful techniques and behaviors to decode and use emotions correctly, improving relationships and management of employees.

Target audience

Managers, Facility Managers, Officials in Organizational Positions, Project Managers, Coordinators and all those who manage collaborators and work groups.

Methodology

Through moments of reflection, exercises and role play, the seminar aims to be a path aimed at conveying a concept of authoritativeness that, based on a better perception of one’s own “knowing how to be,” becomes at the same time a source of positive influence on one’s co-workers.

Duration

2-day in-person course or webinar mode.

Goals

  • To stimulate a comprehensive reflection on the identity and role of Responsible
  • Making a diagnosis of the strengths and weaknesses of one’s leadership style
  • Deepen the behavioral aspects and methodological approach of some people-leading activities: motivation, delegation, development.

    – the components of professionalism, instrumental knowledge and skills
    – behavioral sensitivity
    – authority and authoritativeness
  • The Manager’s Role and Leadership:
    – leadership as a cross-cutting competency of a Manager
    – analysis of some leadership styles
    – “beyond” leadership styles
  • Leadership and emotional recovery:
    – what is emotional intelligence
    – positive emotions and feelings of anxiety and aggression in the boss-employee relationship
    – the role of communication and listening
  • The ability to motivate and grow:
    – knowing how to recognize and support
    – the celebration of successes
    – the importance of example and testimony
    – motivation: limits, resources, opportunities
    – how to build the empowerment cycle and how to stimulate it
  • Knowing how to delegate:
    – delegation in HR management
    – how to implement proper delegation
    – controlling delegation
    – obstacles to delegation
  • One’s personal improvement plan:
    – perception of current situation
    – detection of driving forces
    – awareness of restraining forces.
