The course is a gymnasium of simulated meetings, gatherings and presentations conducted in English, in which the participant challenges himself in formulating questions, interventions and objections, in a language that is not his own.
The lecturer (a communication expert and native English speaker) provides tools, techniques and guidelines for not suffering the language difference and learning how to express oneself more effectively and consciously with foreign interlocutors.

All those who want to sharpen their communication skills in the context of meetings or gatherings held in English.
Methodology
The methodology is highly interactive and engaging: role plays, individual and group exercises and plenary debriefing will be used. The course is conducted in English.

Goals
- Improve one’s active listening skills in the context of English-language meetings
- Hone their English language presentation design and presentation skills
- Developing expressive techniques and using their subjective skills more confidently to appropriately handle the question/answer moment in English
- Apply strategies to seek clarification and elucidation on key points discussed in the meeting
- Handle the public speaking situation in English properly, establishing a feeling with the audience and removing fears and anxieties.

- The difficulties of active listening: why do we not listen well?
- Beginning with participants’ knowledge and experience, encouraging them to reflect on problems, developing and improving listening skills in English
- The psychological aspects of listening
- Reflecting on communication, learning from others: developing the habit of observing communication scenarios
- Factors influencing understanding
- The different types of questions: when and how to use them
- Techniques and tools for clarifying and deepening key discourse points
- Rehearsal of English-language speech exposure to overcome fears and resistance and improve interaction with hearers.
