The course is part of a range of different “lean” training offerings, “taster” a day to focus on a specific aspect/tool of the LEAN methodology.
In this module, Kaizen as an improvement methodology is presented, starting with definitions (Kaizen Promotion Office, Kaizen Event, Kaizen Flag), and then moving on to Road Map and process management. Examples of Team composition, Case Histories, context analysis tools are brought in to choose the most suitable methodology, keeping in mind the emphasis on process and learning, typical of the Lean world, before (strictly) on the operational outcome. Improvements come from projects: Lean Project Management structures them with criteria and tools for visibility, measurement, sequencing.
In this course we therefore focus on improvement management, from philosophy, to organizational structure, to individual project.
