Learning to manage one’s accountable role in digital contexts

Individual Development
Target audience
Professionals and managers
Duration
In-person 1-day course or webinar mode.

Accountability is responsibility with respect to results and the methods chosen to achieve them. The evolution of the role in a remote working context, from “task manager” to “result guarantor” in a setting where the relationship is mediated, requires the diffusion of a culture of accountability and increasing autonomy.
The course aims to develop people’s sense of responsibility to take care of the organization and to preside over its complexities and results with role autonomy to better manage their work even remotely.

Methodology

Interactive workshop with pre-work delivery of the accountable check list and materials designed to prompt initial reflection on accountability.

Goals

  • Taking care of the organization and handling entrusted responsibilities as if the company were one’s own (organizational citizenship)
  • Set challenging role goals and guide one’s own growth by adopting an entrepreneurial perspective of one’s role (role entrepreneurship)
  • Managing complexity and paradoxes by exercising role autonomy and reconciling organization and procedures with the exercise of one’s role autonomy (alibi management)
  • Spread the culture of accountability and support accountable teams that have the big picture and act with the customer always in mind (virality, contagion of accountability).
