In increasingly phygital organizations, mediated communication has increased in intensity and speed. However, the choice of digital tool is not always made effectively, evaluating both the objective to be achieved and the impact on the recipient.
In this workshop, participants acquire the tools to properly select words and communicative tools to be used for effective and understandable mediated communication.

Methodology

Webinar in interactive mode. Pre-work materials (checklists, readings, activational videos, self-assessment questionnaires) will be sent out to solicit some reflections in preparation for the topics covered in the course

Goals

  • Gain awareness of the characteristics of mediated communication, within the phygital work dimension
  • Focus on the importance of using tools as an opportunity and not a constraint in the professional relationship
  • Gain awareness of the impact of context, words, nonverbal and paraverbal communication in computer-mediated communication
  • Select and properly use, in all their aspects, the different communication channels when working remotely
  • Develop effective mediated communication in different work situations.

  • Mediated communication management strategies
  • Information technology communication tools
  • Select the tool based on the target
  • Tips and handling practical aspects related to the use of videos (framing, backgrounds, the place around the communication, etc…)
  • How to communicate effectively online
  • The use of words in the online
  • Writing practices in digital (the use of email, chat, etc…)
  • Online Netiquette
  • Online communication workshop.
