The operation of GAIA
GAIA, thegenerative artificial intelligence assistant developed by PRAXI Informatica, enables informed and strategic decision-making from corporate document repositories.
In an initial “document ingestion” phase, the solution is fed with content from business documents, which are continuously captured and indexed to ensure up-to-date searches.
When the user asks the system a question, in natural language, GAIA identifies and extracts from the documents the most relevant passages based on the context. These passages are then passed to an advanced language model that creates a complete and coherent answer. The answer is formulated in seconds and allows, if desired, access to the source ensuring transparency in the process.
To respond more fully and contextually to users’ questions, GAIA can also use data from not only the company’s document repositories but, via a simple button, also access external sources.
The system is designed to ensure a high level of data protection and privacy: business documents remain secure and are not exposed externally, offering answers without compromising confidentiality.
